Growth Report · September

Sample data

The month in short

You had 38 enquiries from the website in September, up from 31 in August. Most came from people searching Google for boiler repairs, and 14 phoned or emailed rather than filling in the form.

We repeated your “Book a visit” button in the first screen on phones, where most of your visitors never scroll far enough to see it.

Next moves

  • Test a headline about same-day repairsAutomatic
  • Make the phone number optional on the quote formYour web team
  • Ask your last ten customers for a Google reviewYou

Sound familiar?

Retainers are lost in the month nobody can see the work.

Clients judge you on a number you do not report.

Traffic charts show visits. Clients want to know whether the website brought in more work. If calls and emails are not counted, your best months look flat.

Audits take hours and age quickly.

A thorough conversion audit is a day of someone’s time, it is out of date after the next site change, and half of it never gets implemented.

Advice without measurement is easy to dismiss.

“We changed the headline” is an opinion until you can show what happened to enquiries afterwards, against visitors who did not see the change.

How Conversion IQ helps

The monthly work, done and written up for each client.

Review

An audit of every key page, kept current.

Pages are re-reviewed on a monthly cycle, more often when they get heavy traffic, and every checklist item is checked against the live page before it is reported. You review findings instead of producing them.

Change

Changes made on the client site, with a control group.

Auto-pilot applies changes through the script, so there is no theme to edit and nothing to break in the client’s CMS. Changes are tested where traffic allows and measured against a holdout where it does not. Losing changes are removed.

  • Call button on phones

    Live · measured

Prove

Enquiries counted the same way on every client site.

Forms, phone taps and email clicks are all counted, so you report one consistent number across your book of clients, with the channel each enquiry came from.

Straight about it

What it does, and what it does not.

What it does

  • Runs on any client site where you can add one script tag
  • White-label and scheduled reports on the Scale plan
  • Up to three sites with 100 pages each on Scale
  • A shareable report link per client each month

What it does not do

  • Replace your strategy or your client relationship
  • Cover more than three sites on a standard plan; larger books need a conversation
  • Record sessions as video replays

A good fit if

You will get the most from it when…

See plans and prices
  • You manage websites whose job is to generate enquiries for clients
  • You want a monthly deliverable that shows outcomes, not activity
  • You can add a script to client sites, or already manage their CMS
  • You would rather not maintain a stack of separate analytics, heatmap and testing tools
