Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding contract between you (“you”, “your”) and Conversion IQ, operated by Webtec, Sweden (“Conversion IQ”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service at conversioniq-app.com, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Conversion IQ is an AI-powered conversion audit tool for websites. We analyse publicly accessible pages of a website you own or are authorised to audit, and generate reports containing scores, recommendations and rewrites. The scope of each report depends on the plan you are subscribed to.

We may add, remove or change features at any time. If a material change reduces the value of a paid plan, we will notify affected subscribers and offer a prorated refund where required.

3. Accounts

To use most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@conversioniq-app.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Conversion IQ.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Conversion IQ offers several subscription plans, described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in the currency shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you retain access until then.

All prices are shown exclusive of applicable VAT. VAT is added where required by law.

4.1 Refunds

Subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from your billing dashboard to stop future charges, and you retain access until the end of the current billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, email hello@conversioniq-app.com and we will review your account on a case-by-case basis. We also provide a Free plan so you can evaluate Conversion IQ before upgrading to a paid subscription.

4.2 Price changes

We may change prices on new or renewing subscriptions. Where a price increase affects your existing subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price takes effect if you don’t wish to continue.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit URLs you don’t own or don’t have explicit permission to audit;
• use the Service to scrape content in violation of the target site’s terms;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• share your account with others, resell the Service, or rebrand our reports as your own (unless you are on the Agency plan, which explicitly allows white-label delivery);
• use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, harassing or in violation of another person’s rights;
• submit an unreasonable volume of requests so as to degrade performance for other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your content and data

You retain all rights to the content of the websites you audit and to any information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and analyse that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You additionally grant us a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to derive aggregated, de-identified learnings from the way the Service performs on your site — which recommendations could be applied to a page, which could not, and which changed the number of enquiries a site received — and to use those learnings to improve the Service for all customers. These learnings are statistical only. They never include your business name, your URLs, your wording, your figures or anything from which you or your visitors could be identified, and they are never disclosed to another customer in a form that could be traced back to you. This licence survives termination of your subscription, because a learning cannot be un-learned; the underlying content it was derived from is deleted on the schedule set out in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any URL you audit, and that the content of that URL does not infringe on third-party rights.

Where the Service collects data about visitors to your website, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. Our obligations in that role, and the instructions we follow, are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Our content

Everything we create and make available through the Service — the software, the website design, the report layouts, the documentation — belongs to Conversion IQ (or our licensors). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during the period you are subscribed, for your internal business purposes.

The audit outputs we generate for you (the rewrites, recommendations, checklist and visitor intelligence) are yours to use freely for the website you submitted.

8. AI-generated content

Audits are generated in part by large language models. While we have calibrated the system to produce useful, grounded and industry-aware output, AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or reflect biases in its training data. Always review recommendations before applying them to a live website, and use your professional judgement.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance and will try to minimise impact. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly set out in these Terms, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that recommendations will produce a specific conversion-rate uplift, or that the Service will meet any particular requirement.

Except in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct or where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, our aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us during that period.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue or loss of data.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conversion IQ and its team from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support or from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where possible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete your account data within 30 days, except for information we are required to retain by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. For material changes we will notify active users by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
